Philosophy

For as long as sentient life has been able to communicate, we have told stories. Tall tales of monstrous beasts, herculean heroes that pull islands from seas... Fiction has long served as a basis for how we interpret reality. But what has long fascinated theological historians is the fact that, despite geographic differences (some being even LIGHTYEARS apart from one another)... stories tend to repeat. It is as if life itself is composed of its recurring themes.
Many modern day pagans attribute a power to belief. That gods exist in a parasitical relationship with our world, manifested by our desire to interpret the universe we reside inside. Though we understand how many are drawn to this conclusion, this could not be any further from the truth...
Our stories are not a reflection of us... We are a reflection of our stories.
When Zero World emerged from the Quantum Abyss, so arose The Motifs. The Motifs were not quite gods, not quite manifestations, but embodiments of themes often found in fictional works. However, they lacked agency, so... they latched themselves onto mortals. They found great human minds to attach themselves to, allowing these mortals to shape the multiverse on a grander cosmic scale.

Divinity

The initial motifs that emerged from Zero World's creation were Life, Death, and Rebirth. After attaching themselves to human souls, they were reborn as Vivere, Mori, and the Phoenix. For eons, they controlled Zero World, though soon, their mirrors arose. Mirroring Vivere arose from Elaneth, attributed to the motif of ambition. Then rose Elaneth's sister, Lyn, a manifestation of fear... and finally... Apophis. The Basilisk. The Serpent. The Phoenix's Mirror.
The manifestation of limbo.
This brought upon the first war of the gods. Apophis, Elaneth, and Lyn had discovered a remarkable ability - They could attach more motifs to human souls. And so they did. Then, they learned they could create new worlds... And so they did. In response, the Phoenix chose her own champions, culminating in the first war of the gods the Phoenix purged and Zero World transformed into the mythical Mirrorplex.

008's visions

008's visions detail the end of our Earth under the iron fist of Apophis, reincarnated within the body of Helena Borkoshavski. Though 008's visions are to be interpreted with truth, it is important to recognize that 008 was an ill soul, burdened by the childhood trauma that he endured under the USHSA.
It is true that Apophis will, in some way, cleave the worlds created by him and his fellow Motifs, and the ashes of these universes will be used to reshape Earth Twelve. But it is wrong to avoid this. The end is a beautiful inevitability.
